Tinfoil dinners are a favorite summer meal for a lot of reasons and are a great way to get the kids involved in making dinner. Since there is hardly any prep-work required when using our frozen vegetable blends, it’s just a matter of slicing up the sausage and throwing into the foil. Easy peasy!

Cook it over the camp fire!
Foil packet meals are a classic for camping trips. Although we enjoy a classic hobo dinner with ground beef, potatoes, and carrots, this is a fun way to change it up. Since the brats are fully cooked, you really just need to cook these packets long enough for the vegetables to get tender. We recommend cooking over a campfire for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway and moving around as needed. The smoke adds a delicious flavor!
