Easter Oatmeal Creme Pies
Ingredients:
- 6 Fieldstone Oatmeal Creme Pies (#7036)
- White Royal Icing or Dawn White Flat Icing (#1910)
- 6 marshmallows
- Pink sprinkles
- 6 pink M&M’s, or another small pink candy
- 1/4-1/2 cup Ghirardelli Real Milk Chocolate Chips (#1302)
Instructions:
- First, cover the tops of the oatmeal creme pies with icing. Allow to set over night, or place in the fridge to set faster.
- To make the bunnies, cut the marshmallows in half at an angle. Dip the sticky side in the sprinkles, then use a dot of icing to “glue” the ears to the top of the pie. Now, use a dot of icing to secure the pink candy to the center for the nose.
- Then, melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals. Transfer into a Ziploc Bag (#1978), cutting a small hole in one of the corners. Pipe the eyes and mouth onto the cookie, and allow to set before serving.
