Campfire Banana Boats

A drool-worthy campfire dessert, enjoy bananas stuffed with chocolate, wrapped with foil, and cooked over a fire. Banana Boats are great for camping, but can also be cooked at home in the oven or on the grill. Try changing up the fillings, and topping with a scoop of ice cream, too!

Campfire Banana Boats

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. First, carefully cut the banana peel down the center, leaving both ends connected. Gently peel the middle apart.
  2. Then, cut slits throughout the banana to stuff with chocolate.
  3. Cover each banana with a piece of foil, then place on a campfire* for about 10 minutes, or until the chocolate has melted and the banana is warmed through.
  4. If desired, top with a scoop of ice cream.

*Make this treat at home, too! Just heat on the grill.
