Cassey’s Pulled Pork Sandwiches
I’m going to show you a quick pulled pork dinner. The pork that I’m using is the Double L Ranch Meats Pulled Pork (#1677) that is free of 8 common allergens, is made with natural ingredients, raised in the US, and is a fully cooked product. I’ve used about 1/3 of the bag for my family, and I’ll portion out the other last 2/3 to use for other recipes. I’ve added a few extra spices because I like it to be a little bit spicy. The ciabatta buns I used are my favorite! They are a little denser than store-bought, so they hold up really well for soft meats and burgers with all their toppings. I’ve also made a slaw because I love the crunch on my sandwich.

Green Onion Slaw:
- 1 cup SupHerb Farms Fresh Frozen Green Onions (#1864)
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 serrano chiles
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- Regal Coarse Sea Salt (#1147) & AP Coarse Black Pepper (#1028)
- 1/2 cup BBF Avocado Oil (#3516)
- 1 head purple cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 small red onion, halved and thinly slicedÂ
- 1/4 cup SupHerb Farms Fresh Frozen Chopped Cilantro (#1921)
Instructions:
- Set my crockpot to Low for about 2 hours. Put about 1/4 cup BBQ sauce and stirred in and let warm through for another 30 minutes before serving on the Stone Ground Olive Oil Ciabatta 4 in. Hamburger Bun (#1051).
- For the slaw, add the green onion, vinegar, chiles, salt, pepper and mayo to a blender. Process until smooth, then stir together with the cabbage and red onion. Add the cilantro, and more salt and pepper as needed.
- To assemble, put some pulled pork on the bun, followed by a scoop of some yummy slaw. We served ours with corn on the cob.
