Chicken N’ Waffle Bites
The much-loved flavor of chicken and waffles in a snackable, finger-food version. These fully cooked .6 oz. pieces of tender chicken breast are coated in a mildly sweet waffle batter. This product was a big hit at our 2019 Food Show! You can serve them over waffles, dipped in syrup as an appetizer or breakfast, threaded onto skewers for a different way to plate them…you could also put them into breakfast burritos!

Chicken N’ Waffle Bites
Ingredients:
- Wayne Farms Waffle Flavored Chicken Bites (#1986), cooked according to package directions
- 10 Eggo Homestyle Waffles (#1498), cooked according to package directions
Blackberry Maple Syrup
- 1 cup Wyman’s Blackberries (#1221)
- ½ cup Log Cabin Syrup (#1590)
- 1 tsp Clabber Girl Cornstarch (#2849)
- ½ tsp water
Sriracha Honey
- ¼ cup Busy Bee Clover Honey (#1148)
- 1 to 1 ½ Tbsp sriracha
- 1 Tbsp canola or vegetable oil
- Kosher salt
Instructions:
- Coat each chicken bite in either the sriracha honey or blackberry maple syrup, then place on top of mini waffle and secure with a toothpick. Serve.
Blackberry Maple Syrup
- Bring blackberries and maple syrup to a boil over medium heat. Let simmer for 6-8 minutes, until blackberries are softened, gently mashing blackberries with the back of a fork throughout the cooking process.
- During the last minute of cooking, combine cornstarch and water and stir into the maple syrup, letting cook for one minute.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
Sriracha Honey
- Combine honey with 1 tablespoon sriracha and oil in a small bowl. Season with Kosher salt. Taste and add additional sriracha if desired.
