Tips for cooking tots
If you want restaurant crisp tots without a deep fryer, we have a couple of tricks up our sleeves.
- We love our air fryer for crisping with way less oil. Simply spray with Vegalene (#1212) and air fry at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes, or until desired crispness is reached, stirring every 5 minutes.
- Another easy option is to broil. Arrange the tots in a single layer on a cookie sheet, spray with Vegalene (#1212) and broil for 1-3 minutes or until crisp.
