Asian Inspired Flat Iron Steak

Well, if you’re wanting to feel like you’re in a restaurant, appetizers are important! Asian Inspired Flat Iron Steak
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Soy Sauce
- ¼ cup cider vinegar
- ¼ water
- 2 tbsp sugar (#1632)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ¼ cup Honey (#1148)
- 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 2 Tbsp (heaping) Minced Ginger
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic (#1289)
- 2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, add more or less depending on how spicy you want it
- 2 Flat Iron Steaks (#6044)
- Garnish: 2 Tbsp Roasted Sesame Seeds and 2 Green Onions, slivered.
Instructions
- Gather the first 10 ingredients together and whisk together in a bowl.
- Place the steaks and marinade in a
Ziploc bag (#1979) and chill in the refrigerator for 3-6 hours. - Grill steaks on high heat for 4 minutes on each side for medium rare steaks. Allow steaks to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
- Sprinkle roasted sesame seeds and sliced green onion on top, and serve with a side of rice (#1468).
