Bacon Corn Sweet Chowder

What is the best corn to use?

Bacon Corn Sweet Chowder
Ingredients:
- 8 slices Daily’s Center Cut Bacon (#3298), chopped
- ½ cup Flav-R-Pac Chopped Onion (#5772)
- 4 cups chicken broth (#1038 base)
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp AP Coarse Black Pepper (#1028)
- ½ tsp AP Thyme Cut & Sifted (#1444)
- 4 Yukon potatoes diced
- 4 cups Flav-R-Pac Sweet Corn (#1090)
- 2 cup half and half
Instructions:
- Add the bacon to a large Dutch oven on medium heat and cook until crisp. Remove the bacon and set aside two tablespoons of bacon fat.
- Add the onions to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes before adding in the salt, pepper, thyme, broth, potatoes, and corn and bringing to a boil before reducing to a simmer and cooking the potatoes for 20 minutes until they’re tender.
- Add in the half and half, heat through and serve topped with the bacon crumbles.
