Homemade Biscuits and Gravy

Biscuits and Gravy is easier than ever with our Bridgford Biscuits and Peppered Gravy Mix. Start your morning right!

How long does this meal last?

Unfortunately, Biscuits and Gravy doesn’t last long. We suggest eating your leftover gravy within 1 to 2 days. As for the biscuits, they will be good up to 1 week in the fridge.

Looking for a homemade gravy?

If you want a completely homemade gravy rather than our wonderful Custom Culinary gravy, we will try to understand… This is a close second:

You will need: 4 cups skim milk, 1/2 cup margarine, 1/2 cup all purpose flour (#2285), 1 Tbsp salt (#1146), and 1 1/2 Tbsp ground pepper (#1030)– or more to taste.

  1. Pour milk into a microwave-safe container and heat in a microwave oven until warm, about 2 minutes.
  2. Melt margarine in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and continue cooking until the mixture bubbles, about 5 minutes. Pour milk into the saucepan slowly while whisking. Cook and whisk until the mixture begins to thicken, about 3 minutes. Add salt and pepper. Continue whisking until the gravy comes to a boil, about 3 minutes more. Remove from heat.
