Caramel Apple Pie Sundaes

Treat yourself to Caramel Apple Pie Sundaes with vanilla ice cream, delicious caramelized apples, a crisp cinnamon panko topping, and caramel sauce. This recipe can be done with any type of apples, but a variety of granny smith and gala work well. You can also use frozen apples, if needed.

Tips for the apple filling:

We like using tart apples for the filling like granny smith or gala. The trick is to cook the mixture just enough that the apples are soft but still have a slight crunch to them. If you have premade apple pie filling, that can work as well.
