Ground Beef Penne Bake
A simple pasta dish using ingredients we typically have on hand. Enjoy Ground Beef Penne Bake with ground beef, penne, tomato sauce, onion, bell pepper, and a handful of spices, then topped with melted mozzarella. Ground Beef Penne Bake
Ingredients:
- 12 oz. Barilla Penne Rigate (#2465)
- 1 lb. Childer’s Ground Beef (#2549)
- 1 Tbsp BBF Avocado Oil (#3516)
- 2 cups Flav-R-Pac Omelette Blend (#3216)
- 1/2 Tbsp Kirkland Minced Garlic (#1289)
- 1 tsp AP Mediterranean Oregano (#1445)
- 1 tsp AP Mild Chili Powder (#1014)
- Regal Coarse Sea Salt (#1147), AP Course Black Pepper (#1028), to taste
- 1 jar Barilla Traditional Tomato Pasta Sauce (#2545)
- 1 cup mozzarella Cheese
Instructions:
- First, preheat oven to 375F. Spray a baking dish with Vegalene Garlic Mist (#1577) and set aside.
- Next, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne, and cook until al dente. Drain.
- Meanwhile, preheat a skillet with the oil. Then, add the ground beef, omelette blend, and garlic to a pan along with the spices. Cook until the beef has no pink and the onion and pepper are tender.
- Then, combine the pasta, ground beef mixture, and sauce. Pour into the prepared pan and cover with Kirkland Premium Quality Foodservice Foil (#1963).
- Now, bake 15-20 minutes, then remove the foil and add the cheese. Bake for 5 minutes more or until the cheese is melted. Enjoy!
