Campfire Baked Brie
Cuddle up in front of a campfire with this creamy, melty brie topped with balsamic glaze, basil, cherry tomatoes, and mini naan dippers. This recipe can feed as many or little people as you want, depending on the size of brie wheel you buy.
This recipe only has a handful of ingredients but is incredibly easy to prepare part ahead of time. To do this, simply chop the tomatoes and basil and store in a cooler, then throw everything together when the fire is ready for cooking.
Tips for cooking brie
Brie isn’t as common of a cheese to use, so here are a few tips to get the best results:
- If the cheese is hot to the touch, it’s ready to serve.
- Keeping the rind on will help hold the shape, and prevent it from melting out.
- If you’re at home, simply bake at 350F for 5 to 7 minutes.

Campfire Baked Brie
Ingredients:
- Stonefire Original Naan Dipper (#2794)
- Wheel of Brie
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp BBF Avocado Oil (#3516)
- 5 Tbsp balsamic reduction
- 5 Basil Leaves
- Fine Sea Salt (#1146), to taste
Instructions:
For camping, ahead of time:
- Slice cherry tomatoes in halves and chop basil, place in cooler.
Campfire Cooking:
- First, place 1 Tbsp olive oil in cast iron skillet.
- Then, add wheel of brie to the middle of the skillet. Place halved cherry tomatoes and a pinch of salt on and surrounding the brie.
- Place on a grate over the campfire for 5-7 minutes or until tomatoes start to blister.
- Carefully, remove cast iron from the fire and top with chopped basil leaves and balsamic reduction.
- Next, grill Naan Dippers® on grate over campfire for approximately 1 minute on each side or until golden and soft.
- Serve warm with melted brie and tomatoes.
