Spiced Honey & True Lemon Baked Ham
Ingredients:
- 1 Kirkland Spiral Sliced Ham (#5986)
- 3/4 cup Busy Bee Clover Honey (#1148)
- 1/2 cup C & H Brown Sugar (#1150)
- 8 packets of True Lemon (#1689) dissolved in 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp AP Mustard Seed Powder (#1428)
- 1/2 tsp each of Ground Ginger (#1420), ground cloves, AP Coarse Black Pepper (#1028), grated nutmeg
Instructions:
- First, preheat your oven to 350F. Then, line a shallow baking pan with parchment paper (#1153) or tin foil (#) and set a wire baking rack on top.
- Tie the ham horizontally and vertically 2 to 3 inch intervals using kitchen twine, to keep the ham slices together while baking. Place the ham bottom side up on the rack.
- Next, whisk together the rest of the ingredients and pour 1/4 cup over the ham. Turn the ham right side up and pour another 1/4 cup of glaze over top.
- Allow to bake for 30 minutes, then brush with the remaining glaze. Bake another 30 minutes.
- Then, using the juices in the bottom of the pan, baste the ham once more and cook for 10 more minutes or until the edges are browned.
- Let the ham rest for at least 5 minutes and remove the twine. Place the ham on a serving platter and pour any remaining juices into a container. If desired, brush the ham with glaze a final time before serving.
