Eggless French Toast
A delicious option for those sensitive to eggs and dairy, this Eggless French Toast topped with candied almond praline is worth getting out of bed for. Alternatively, you can top with Log Cabin Syrup (#1590) or Cornaby’s Fruit Syrups.

Eggless French Toast
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup C & H Powdered Sugar (#1151)
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
French Toast:
- 1 cup Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (#1457)
- 2 Tbsp Clabber Girl Cornstarch (#2849)
- 2 tsp Mexican Vanilla (#6919)
- 4 slices Texas Toast (#1373)
- 4 tsp Kirkland Butter (#1723)
Ingredients:
- First, add the powdered sugar and water to a pot over high heat. Stir to dissolve the sugar, then bring to a boil for 6 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 2 minutes, then add the almonds. Pour onto a baking sheet (#4020) lined with parchment paper (#1153). Once cooled, break into small pieces.
- Then, whisk together the silk, cornstarch, and vanilla. Dip 1 piece of bread at a time into the mixture, then place onto a heated skillet with melted butter. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook an additional 2-3 minutes. Top with the almond mixture and serve.
