Does the cook time change if I use frozen broccoli?

Lemon Broccoli Pierogy Skillet

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. First, heat 2 Tbsp of the oil in a skillet. Add the pierogies and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 8 minutes. Remove from pan.
  2. Using the same pan, add the remaining oil and cook the onions until tender. Then, add the garlic and basil, stirring, for 30 seconds.
  3. Now, add the broth, lemon juice, broccoli, and lemon zest. Bring to a simmer, cover, then steam for 2-3 minutes or until the broccoli is tender.
  4. Meanwhile, whisk the milk and cornstarch together. Add the parmesan cheese and milk mixture to the pan, and bring back to a simmer for 1 minutes or until thickened. Then, add the pierogies back, and keep simmering until heated through. Add salt and pepper to taste, then serve.
