Instructions:

  1. First, preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Then, coat sweet potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. Spread onto a cookie sheet (#4020) lined with kirkland foil (#1963) and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to slightly cool.
  3. Now, add to a food processor with the soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Then, add the onions and chickpeas and pulse until well mixed. Pulse until you reach a consistency of mashed potatoes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the oats, walnuts, ground flaxseed, and paprika. Fold in the sweet potato mixture, then mix in the almond milk.
  5. Measure the mixture with a 1/3 measuring cup, and form a patty with your hands. If desired, coat each patty in a mixture of Panko Bread Crumbs (#1193) and Italian ‘n Pizza Seasoning (#1432) before frying.
  6. Meanwhile, heat the coconut oil in a pan. Add the patties and saute until each side is golden brown, about 4 minutes per side.
