Did You Know…? You can make hash browns in a waffle iron! These cheesy Hash Brown Waffles are delightfully crisp on the outside and soft on the inside with a nice crunch from bacon crumbles. Try serving a fried egg on top, too!

Like we mentioned above, these waffles are great served with a fried egg on top to complete the meal. Others like to add them to a burger, burrito, or even add syrup. However you serve them, your family will love them.

Waffle Iron Bacon & Cheese Hash Browns

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat waffle iron to medium-high. Spray both sides with Grid Iron Spray (#1575) or another nonstick spray.
  2. Then, pour the melted butter over the hash browns in a large bowl. Add seasonings and gently stir.
  3. Scoop a heaping 1/2 cup of the hash brown mixture into each waffle section. Then top with 2 Tbsp. cheese and some bacon or ham. Top this with another 1/4 cup hash brown mixture and close waffle iron.
  4. Cook for 15 minutes. or until golden brown.
