Whole Wheat is full of fiber, vitamins B6 and E, magnesium, zinc, folic acid, and chrosium. While all those things are great, fiber is the most important part. Not only does it help you maintain weight, but it is know to be a great digestive aide too. Whole wheat doesn’t lose nutrients like white flour does.

What can I put on my Muffin?

Muffins are an easy treat. Our favorite is adding both butter and our favorite jam. Some jam options we love are Peach Cobbler (#8930), Red Raspberry (#3003), Strawberry Rhubarb (#3005), and Bodacious Berry (#3000).

Whole Wheat Muffins

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Great bottoms only of muffin pan.
  3. Beat egg and stir in next six ingredients. Mix well.
  4. Add flour and baking powder and stir until flour is moistened. Do not overmix.
  5. Fill cups 3/4 full. Sprinkle with sugar or sugar-cinnamon mixture, if desired.
  6. Bake 10-12 minutes.
