Whole Wheat Muffins
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp Augason Farms Country Farms Instant Nonfat Dry Milk (#8517)
- 1
cup water - 1/2 cup chopped nuts- walnuts
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup Augason Farms Honey Powder (#8354)
- 1/2 tsp salt (#1146)
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder (#2847)
- Sugar (#1632) or sugar-cinnamon mixture (#1536), optional
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Great bottoms only of muffin pan.
- Beat egg and stir in next six ingredients. Mix well.
- Add flour and baking powder and stir until flour is moistened. Do not overmix.
- Fill cups 3/4 full. Sprinkle with sugar or sugar-cinnamon mixture, if desired.
- Bake 10-12 minutes.
