Chili Cheese Dog Empanadas

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. First, thaw pie dough until flexible, covered, at room temp. 15-30 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
  2. For the filling, mix together the chili, cheddar cheese, and sliced hot dogs.
  3. Then, scoop some of the mixture into the center of the dough. Repeat until all the crusts are used.
  4. With the beaten egg, brush the edges of the dough. Fold it in half, then press down the edges with a fork.
  5. Now, place it on a baking sheet (#4020) lined with parchment paper (#1153). Brush the top with more egg, and sprinkle chili powder on the top.
  6. Place in the oven at 400F for 17-19 minutes. Cool before serving.
