Mashed Potato Topped Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. First, preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Then, prepare the mashed potatoes by bringing the water to a boil. Remove from heat and immediately stir in potatoes until thoroughly combined. Let stand for 1 minute, then set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup and milk using a Zyliss Mini Whisk (#1796). Stir in 2/3 cup of the French fried onions, then pour into a casserole dish.
  4. Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes or until heated through.
  5. Now, remove the casserole from the oven and mix. Gently top with the mashed potatoes.
  6. Switch the oven to broil, then place the casserole back in the oven for 2 minutes or until the potatoes are lightly browned.
  7. Before serving, top with the remaining French fried onions.
