Waffle Iron Bacon & Cheese Hash Browns
Did You Know…? You can make hash browns in a waffle iron! These cheesy Hash Brown Waffles are delightfully crisp on the outside and soft on the inside with a nice crunch from bacon crumbles. Try serving a fried egg on top, too!

Waffle Iron Bacon & Cheese Hash Browns
Ingredients:
- 30 oz. Quincy Gold Shredded Hash Browns (#2418), thawed (important: squeeze out excess moisture between paper towels)
- 1/2 stick Kirkland Butter (#1723), melted
- 1/2 tsp AP Table Grind Black Pepper (#1029)
- 1/2 tsp AP Garlic Supreme (#2592)
- 3/4 cup Tillamook Shredded Cheddar Cheese (#1866)
- 3/4 cup chopped Daily’s Precooked Bacon (#4835) or Farmland Boneless Ham (#7960)
Instructions:
- Preheat waffle iron to medium-high. Spray both sides with Grid Iron Spray (#1575) or another nonstick spray.
- Then, pour the melted butter over the hash browns in a large bowl. Add seasonings and gently stir.
- Scoop a heaping 1/2 cup of the hash brown mixture into each waffle section. Then top with 2 Tbsp. cheese and some bacon or ham. Top this with another 1/4 cup hash brown mixture and close waffle iron.
- Cook for 15 minutes. or until golden brown.
