Jamaican Ribs

Ingredients:

Mango BBQ Sauce

Instructions:

  1. Thaw the ribs in the fridge over night.
  2. The next day, preheat the oven to 350F.
  3. On a foil-lined baking sheet (#5957), season the ribs with Jamaican Jerk Seasoning. Allow the ribs to sit for at least 10-30 minutes to absorb all the flavor and slightly thaw. Then, cover with tin foil (#1963) and place in the oven until heated through, about 10-15 minutes.
  4. *Ovens may vary. Check occasionally to see if they are heated through.
  5. While the ribs are in the oven, make the Mango BBQ Sauce. First puree the onion, garlic, and mango until smooth. Transfer to a saucepan with the remaining ingredients and stir until well combined. Then, cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once done, remove from heat and store in the fridge until ready to use.
  6. Before serving, remove the ribs from the oven and baste with 1/2-1 cup of the prepared Mango BBQ Sauce. Return to the oven and broil for 5 minutes, or until the sauce begins to carmelize. Reserve some sauce to serve on the side. Enjoy!
