Loaded Texas Toothpicks
Moore’s Texas Toothpicks (#2493) were originally brought in as a Special Order item, but were so popular we decided to add them to the catalog! They are great as an appetizer, side, or topping for burgers. Or, as the base for Loaded Texas toothpicks- topped with maple-glazed pulled pork, jalapeno cheese sauce, and chopped green onions.

Loaded Texas Toothpicks
Ingredients:
Maple Glazed Pork:
- 1 pouch Double L Ranch Meats Smoke Craft Pulled Pork (#1677)
- 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup Log Cabin Original Syrup (#1590)
- 1 tsp AP Mild Chili Powder (#1014)
- 1 tsp AP Milk Paprika (#1697)
- 1/2 tsp Regal Fine Sea Salt (#1147)
- Moore’s Texas Toothpicks (#2493)
- 1-2 Gehl’s Jalapeno Nacho Cheese Sauce Cups (#6899)
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions:
- First, add the pulled pork to a crockpot lined with a PanSaver Slow Cooker Liner (#1089). Add the apple cider vinegar, syrup, chili powder, paprika, and salt. Cook on low for 1 hour, or until heated through.
- Once the meat is warm, prepare Texas Toothpicks in an air fryer. Spray with Vegalene (#1212), then fry at 400F for 3-5 minutes or until crisp.
- On a platter, layer prepared Texas Toothpicks, followed with maple pork. Then, drizzle the cheese sauce over top and garnish with green onions. Serve immediately.
