20 Minute Cabbage Potato Skillet
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. potatoes, chopped
- 1/2-1 tsp Regal Coarse Salt (#1147)
- 1/2 tsp AP Coarse Black Pepper (#1028)
- 1 Tbsp BBF Naturally Refined Coconut Oil (#8287)
- 1/2-1 cup Flav-R-Pac Chopped Onion (#5772)
- 2 tsp Kirkland Minced Garlic (#1289)
- 1 lb Daily’s Black Pepper Smoked Pork Rope Sausage (#1920), thinly sliced
- 1/2 head green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp water
Instructions:
- First, peel and chop the potatoes. Season with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. Microwave for 4 minutes, stir and microwave an additional 2-4 minutes or until fork-tender.
- Meanwhile, heat up a skillet and add the oil. Saute the onions until lightly browned, then add the garlic and rope sausage and cook for about 3 minutes. Once the potatoes are tender, add to the pan. Cook until the potatoes are brown and add oil if needed.
- Now, add the cabbage and sprinkle with 1/4 tsp salt and the remaining pepper. Mix in, then add the water and reduce the heat to low. Cover with a lid and cook until the cabbage is barely wilted, about 2 minutes. Enjoy!
