Honey Glazed Shrimp Skewers
Black Tiger Shrimp grilled with a simple honey + soy sauce glaze, great for anything from to Valentine’s Day dinner to Superbowl parties. If you like a slight kick, try adding 1/4-1/2 tsp of AP Mild Chili Powder (#1014) to the marinade.
How can I serve this?
There are a few different ways to serve Honey Glazed Shrimp Skewers.
- For a nice meal, serve with a bed of rice and sauteed Stir Fry Vegetable Blend (#5309).
- Think ahead to warmer days and serve with vegetable skewers. We recommend zucchini, bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms- using the same marinade recipe, if desired.
- For Football Sunday, serve with Mihn Vegetable Egg Rolls (#4078) and Amoy Crab Rangoons (#6694), along with other favorite finger foods.

Honey Glazed Shrimp Skewers
Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp BBF Avocado Oil (#3516)
- 1/2 cup Cox’s Honey (#2565)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 3 tsp Kirkland Minced Garlic (#1289)
- 1 lb. AquaStar Black Tiger Shrimp (#2806), thawed
- Regal Fine Sea Salt (#1146) and AP Coarse Black Pepper (#1028), to taste
- Wooden skewers
Instructions:
- First, combine the avocado oil, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and garlic in a bowl.
- Then, add half of the mixture to a Ziploc Gallon Bag (#1979) along with the shrimp, setting the rest aside. Shake the bag to evenly coat the shrimp, then place in the fridge for an hour to marinate. Meanwhile, soak the skewers in water.
- Now, slide several pieces of shrimp onto the prepared skewers.
- Preheat grill to medium heat. Cook the skewers for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until slightly opaque.
- While the shrimp are on the grill, bring the remaining sauce to a boil, then turn down to a simmer for 5 minutes or until thick enough for a glaze.
- Remove the shrimp, and immediately brush the glaze on. Enjoy!
