Twix Thumbprint Cookies

A wonderfully sweet combination of cookie and your favorite Twix candy bar. You won’t be able to get enough of this sweet treat. They are great for a quick treat, or to bring as a dessert to a gathering. But, whatever they’re for, we’re sure you’ll love the combination of chocolate and caramel with a soft cookie. Plus, you can add a little salt to the caramel for a delicious Salted Caramel twist.

How do I store these?

If you have any of these yummy Twix Thumbprint Cookies left, we suggest storing them in an airtight container for up to one week. In addition, you can store the cookies in the freezer in an airtight container for a few months, but this may affect the quality of this dessert.

Twix Thumbprint Cookies

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. First, line a baking sheet (#5957) with parchment paper (#1153).
  2. Then, mix together flour and salt in a small bowl.
  3. Using an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar until it becomes fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla, then add the flour mixture until thoroughly combined.
  4. Next, use a scoop (#3838) to divide the dough and roll into 1″ balls. Place on the lined baking sheet about 2″ apart, then use your thumb to indent the middle of each ball.
  5. Now, freeze the dough for 30 minutes or until your oven is preheated to 350º.
  6. Remove the dough from the freezer and place in the oven to bake for 13 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool.
  7. Once they are cool, fill each cookie indent with 1 tsp of caramel and lightly drizzle with the melted chocolate. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to set, then enjoy.
