Try these mix-ins

  1. Instead of salt and pepper, sprinkle with Alison’s Everything Bagel Seasoning (#1826).
  2. Add Tillamook Medium Cheddar Shredded Cheese (#1866).
  3. Top with hot sauce.
  4. Add a small handful of Flav-R-Pac Omelette Blend (#3216) to the bottom of the cup.
  5. Sprinkle chopped mushrooms on top.

Don’t have a heart-shaped pan?

If you don’t have a heart shaped muffin pan (like most of us), we have an easy solution. Simply place a small ball made of Kirkland Premium Quality Foodservice Foil (#1963) in the upper section of each well. Position the bread around it to create your heart shape, and assemble as described below. If desired, you can also position foil along the sides to produce a clearer heart “tip”.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. First, preheat oven to 375F. Spread butter into 6 wells of a heart-shaped silicone muffin pan.
  2. Then, slightly roll out the bread and cut with a 4 1/2 in cooke cutter. Cut each circle in half, then press along the sides of the muffin cup. Spread the remaining butter on the bread.
  3. Now, par-cook the bacon in a skillet, about 4 to 5 minutes. Lay a slice into each well to create bacon arrows.
  4. Next, crack an egg into each well and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the egg is set.
  6. To serve, carefully run a knife along the edges and remove from pan. Garnish with parsley or chives, and enjoy!
