  1. Try filling them with a simple taco filling for bite-sized tacos. Prepare Main St Meats Ground Beef (#2622) with Ole Taco Seasoning Mix (#1037) according to the directions on the bag. Crisp up the shells in the oven according to the directions below, then fill the shells and top with cheese and a dollop of sour cream.
  2. For a sweet treat, fill the shells with our Pecan Pie in a Jar (#7975). To do this, simply crisp the shells in the oven for 2 minutes, remove to add the filling, then place back into the oven until the filling is warm, about 3-5 minutes more.

Mini Jamaican Beef Phyllo Bites

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. First, preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Then, add beef, onion, potato, carrot, garlic, and salt. Cook until the beef is browned and the vegetables are tender. Then, add peas, curry powder, and beef stock. Stir together and cook until the stock is mostly evaporated.
  2. This step is optional. If you would like the shells to be crispy, preheat the oven to 350F. Place the empty shells on a baking sheet (#5957) and bake for 3-5 minutes. Cool before adding the filling.
  3. Next, fill each shell with about 1 heaping teaspoon of the filling. Top with green onions and parsley, if desired. Enjoy!
