More ways to use our pork shoulder:

Since this product is precooked, it seems to work better when enjoyed as is, rather than trying to marinade. Feel free to add more spices or sauce though. You can shred the pork, or leave it in large chunks depending on how you use it.

  1. The most popular way to use pulled pork is a sandwich. Simply heat the pork, shred it, then serve on a Ciabatta Bun (#1051) with your favorite BBQ sauce. This is an extremely easy way to feed a crowd with hardly any prep time!
  2. Now, think more along the lines of Street Tacos when using our pork shoulder. Once the meat is warmed up and shredded, add some lime juice, Kirkland Minced Garlic (#1289), chopped cilantro, and your favorite spice to taste- we like using the Carne Asada Seasoning (#7378) for this. Most of the flavor will be from your toppings. Fill corn or flour tortillas (#4970), and top with Calavo Guacamole (#9247), chopped onions, and Tillamook Shredded Cheese (#1866).
  3. Make up your favorite chili recipe, and sub the ground beef (#2622) with pulled pork. This is a simple swap but is a great way to change it up.
  4. Adding pulled pork to pasta might sound odd, but don’t think of your typical Italian favorites. Think BBQ Pulled Pork Pasta or Creamy Pork Carnitas Pasta.
  5. Nachos are a crunchy favorite, and we love adding different types of meat to this meal. Top your tortilla chips with lots of Tillamook Shredded Cheese (#1866), black beans, sliced jalapenos or green chilis, and pulled pork. Once they are done, top with a dollop of sour cream and Calavo Guacamole (#9247).
