Chili and Cinnamon Dusted Bites:

Instructions:

  1. First, make the dulce de leche sauce by placing an unopened can of sweetened condensed milk into a saucepan, covering 2 inches above the top of the can. Bring the water to a boil, then let simmer for 2 hours. Make sure the water is always 2 inches above the can. Then, remove from water and allow to cool.
  2. Next, preheat oven to 350F.

Stir together until smooth. Now, add the cocoa powder, vanilla paste, cinnamon, and chipotle powder. Mix together, then set aside.
  4. Now, lay the pretzel bites in a single layer on a Crestware Baking Sheet (#5957) and toast for 5-7 minutes. While toasting, combine the cinnamon sugar with the chili powder. Remove the pretzel bites from the oven, and toss in melted butter until coated. Quickly add the cinnamon mixture and coat again.
  5. Serve while still warm with the sauces on the side.
