How long does fruit leather stay good?

We recommend storing fruit leather for up to a month at room temperature in an airtight container. Or, store tightly wrapped rolls of leather in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a year.

Wyman’s Fruit Leather

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. First, preheat oven to 170F, or your lowest setting. Then, line a Crestware Cookie Sheet (#4020) with a Crestware Silicone Baking Mat (#8436) or a piece of Parchment Paper (#1153).
  2. Now, add the berries to a blender and blend until smooth. If desired, strain the seeds out and mix in lemon juice and honey.
  3. Then, spread onto the baking sheet in an even layer. Bake, turning every hour, for four hours or until it is no longer sticky to the touch.
  4. Once done, cut it into shapes or strips and place in desired storage container.
