3 Savory Naan Sandwiches

Stonefire Mini Naan Bread (#1686) is hand-stretched sandwich size flatbread made with buttermilk and ghee (clarified butter). It can be used for personal pizzas, tacos, dipping in hummus or oil blends, etc., but also makes exceptionally great sandwiches. Italian Ham Naan Panini

This simple Panini is packed full of flavor and is perfect for an easy lunch on a busy afternoon.

Italian Ham Naan Panini

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. First, stir together the goat cheese and tapenade and set aside.
  2. Then, spread the flat side (bubble side down) of two pieces of naan with the goat cheese mixture, placing the slices of meat and cheese on top. Set a second piece of naan on top.
  3. Then, carefully set in a warmed Panini press and cook until the cheese has melted and the bread on the outside has a crispy exterior.

  2. Next, place sliced ham, sliced tomato and 1 tsp of the caramelized onion jam on 4 pieces of naan, then adding the other piece of naan on top.

  1. First, combine the two pesto’s together and spread over the bottom side of the Naan (bubbly side down). Now, add the chicken strips, parmesan, pine nuts, and arugula.
  2. Place the second naan, bottom side down, on top, pressing the two naan firmly together. (The “bubbly” side of each naan should be on the outside of the sandwich.)
  3. Then, carefully set in a warmed Panini press and cook until the cheese has melted and the bread on the outside has a crispy exterior.
