Smoky Keto Meatballs With Zucchini Spirals

All the comfort you need from spaghetti and meatballs, without the carbs! We’re so excited to start out the year with a product like Tattooed Chef Zucchini Spirals (#2803). Not only are they key for keto diets, but since they’re already spiralized- it saves so much time of prep work! They can be served as a side with your favorite seasoning, or topped with your keto-approved favorite sauce. We’ve paired them with Smoky Keto Ground Turkey Meatballs and coated the spirals in garlic butter, so there’s really no need for sauce. It’s already full of flavor! But, it would be delicious tossed in your favorite keto-friendly tomato sauce.

Tips for cooking with Zucchini Spirals

Not only is Tattooed Chef Zucchini Spirals (#2803) a major time-saver, but it’s so convenient! These are frozen in nests, rather than in one big block, making it easy to use as much or little as you need. They’re great for anything from meal prepping for the week, to cooking a family dinner. There are a few ways to cook them:

  1. In the microwave.
  2. On the stovetop.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. First, prepare the meatballs by combining the ground turkey, eggs, diced shallot, parmesan cheese, smoked paprika, salt, pepper and fresh parsely. Then, form into meatballs.
  2. Next, melt 4 Tbsp of the garlic butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs, and cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway, or they are cooked through and golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
  3. Next, place desired amount of nests in a non-stick skillet. Cover with lid and cook on medium heat for 4 to 4 1/2 minutes. Remove lid, flip nests over and heat for an additional 4-5 minutes or until heated through and water has absorbed. Stir occasionally. Then, toss in the remaining butter and mix in the meatballs.
  4. Enjoy as is, or with your favorite keto friendly tomato sauce.
