Which products are our founder’s favorites?

This February, Alison Chuntz, the founder of Alison’s Pantry, shared her favorite products that she has been serving to her family members and friends for years. Anyone who knows Alison knows she’s not only an amazing cook but also one of the most thoughtful women around. She regularly takes meals to sick friends or hosts gatherings in her home…always with great food! So, these “founder’s favorite” recommendations have been well-tested. From staples to treats, these products are ones that Alison can attest to making mealtime a little more special. Keep reading to learn more about Alison’s favorites and some creative ways to use these products in your own home.

Janey Lou’s Old Fashioned Cinnamon Rolls (#9134)

“Fall and winter days call for these soft and luscious Cinnamon Rolls! Start a batch in the morning and by late afternoon, (warm kitchen needed!) you can bake them off for a delicious after-school snack or dessert for dinner. They are perfect to give away by the pan full. Spread love with these cinnamon rolls. Frost with Nutella or Janey Lou’s Cream Cheese Icing.” -Alison Chuntz, AP Founder

Simplot Traditional Shredded Hashbrowns (#2984)

“What could be easier than using these shredded hash browns for making a 9 x 13″ pan of Funeral Potatoes or any potato side dish? They taste like you just shredded them from a fresh Idaho potato. Frozen and ready to use for a breakfast of bacon, eggs, and hash browns your family will love you for! Get back to a hearty Saturday spread and make some memories.” -Alison Chuntz, AP Founder

Get creative with your morning Hash browns! Try putting a scoop onto your waffle maker for some delicious hash brown waffles! Not only is it a fun way to change up your breakfast, but it’s easier to eat! Your shredded hash browns will stick together for better bites!

AP Scrumptious Raspberry Muffin Mix (#2309)

“It doesn’t matter the weather, these muffins are really scrumptious and the raspberries melt in your mouth. They are perfect for a nice neighbor gift or for a breakfast that says to your family: you are special!” -Alison Chuntz, AP Founder

Have you ever been craving cookies but all you have is muffin mix? No problem! Instead of adding water and oil, add 8 tbsp. of butter and 1 1/2 tbsp. of vanilla extract to your Raspberry Muffin Mix! It will create the perfect cookie dough. Cook for 10-12 minutes, and bam! Muffin cookies!! Check out these Raspberry Muffin Cookies that AP’s Social Media Manager, Seda, made!

Blount Broccoli & Cheese Soup (#9245)

“I love frozen soup from Alison’s Pantry because it makes my life easy on busy days when I just don’t have time to make dinner! A steamy, hearty bowl of this soup is a comfort food that my family always loves. I enjoy taking soup and Janey Lou’s rolls to my neighbors who are sick, and nothing says ‘I am thinking about you’ as well as hot soup! It’s simple to heat in a pan of boiling water. No mess; just easy and delicious.”-Alison Chuntz, AP Founder

There are so many ways to give your soups a little more “pizzazz.” One of my favorite ways to spice up the Broccoli & Cheese Soup specifically is a bread bowl and bacon! The bread section of your local grocery store will have ready-to-go bread bowls, so grab some next time you are there! Heating up a couple slices of Daily’s Precooked Bacon (4835) and adding that into your soup is a must-try.
