Breakfast Pierogies Platter
Valentine’s Day gives us a great excuse to celebrate our significant others, but we have always enjoyed taking time to make it feel like a special day for our kids too. And, what better way to do that than starting off the day with great food?
Serve breakfast in bed (or at the kitchen counter…) with an easy Breakfast Pierogies Platter complete with fruit, eggs, toast, and breakfast meat. Whether you make it for you and your significant other, or as an easy way to surprise your kids on Valentine’s Day, there’s sure to be something for everyone on this delicious platter. Plus, ingredients can easily be swapped out depending on preferences and dietary restrictions.

Surprise your kids on Valentine’s Day with a special breakfast just for them. This platter can easily be turned into a “Love Day” dish by cutting the strawberries, toast, and even breakfast meat into heart shapes. Your kids will love it!

Breakfast Pierogies Platter
Ingredients:
- 10 Mrs. T’s Loaded Baked Potato Pierogies (#4991)
- 2 Tbsp Kirkland Salted Sweet Cream Butter (#1723)
- 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- AP Seasoning Salt (#1033), to taste
- 5 eggs, scrambled
- 5 slices Rocky Mountain White (#1336) or Wheat (#1345) Bread
- Strawberries, grapefruit, or your favorite fruit
- Favorite breakfast meat- Daily’s Fully Cooked Skinless Pork Sausage Links (#5464), Canadian Bacon, Daily’s Fully Cooked Pork Sausage Patties (#4063), Daily’s Hardwood Smoked Honey Cured Thick Sliced Bacon (#8463), or another meat of your choice
Instructions:
- First, melt 1 Tbsp butter in a frying pan. Add the piergoies, seasoning salt, and parsley and sautee until golden brown and heated through.
- Meanwhile, melt the remaining butter in another pan and scramble the eggs. While the eggs cook, pop the toast in the toaster. If desired, top eggs with Tillamook Shredded Cheddar Cheese (#1866) before serving.
- Once the pierogies are done, saute the breakfast meat.
- Now, arrange all the ingredients onto a large cutting board. Serve with a carton of Gossners Milk. Enjoy!
