Cheesy Grilled Pierogy Packets w/Bacon

Take foil packets to a new level with Mrs. T’s Pierogies; grilled with Daily’s Precooked Bacon and Kirkland Cheese, then topped with sour cream and chives.

How can I change this recipe?

One trick we love with any tin foil dinner is to replace oil with Kirkland Salted Sweet Cream Butter (#1723). You can either melt the butter and toss the pierogies or add a slab of butter in the foil packet and top with the salt and pepper. You won’t need a lot of butter because of the bacon, but it will help crisp up your pierogies and add a delicious buttery flavor.

Cheesy Grilled Pierogy Packets w/Bacon

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat grill to 400 degrees.
  2. Toss pierogies with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Spray 4 heavy-duty foil (#1963) sheets (about 12″ x18″ each) with Vegalene (#1212) and divide pierogies and bacon between them. Tightly seal each packet.
  4. Grill packets for 10 minutes, turning halfway through
  5. Remove packets from grill, open carefully, and sprinkle pierogies with cheese.
  6. Top with sour cream and chives.
