Detox Lemon Dill Chicken Soup
Ingredients:
- 5 oz. Chef Shamy Lemon Herb Finishing Butter (#8879)
- 1 lb. Main St. Meats Chicken Breast Chunks (#2620)
- 2 cups sliced Celery
- 2 cups Flav-R-Pac Sunshine Carrots (#5520)
- 1 cup Flav-R-Pac Chopped Onion (#5772)
- 16 oz. Dakota Growers Extra Wide Egg Noodles (#2479)
- 8 cups water + 2 1/2 Tbsp Custom Culinary Chicken Base (#1040)
- AP Table Grind Black Pepper (#1029), to taste
Instructions:
- In a large pot melt 3 oz of butter, then add chicken. Saute until nearly cooked through then add remaining butter and stir in celery, carrots, and onion. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Add broth and bring to a boil. Add noodles and cook for 12 minutes or until tender. Serve with pepper to taste.
- If desired, add fresh lemon zest to the top.
