Homemade Mini Corndogs

Enjoy Hebrew National Beef Franks coated in a cornmeal batter and fried to perfection! Serve with ketchup or mustard and a side of french fries. Can these be frozen?
Yes! Just allow them to cool completely after frying, then store in a Ziploc Freezer Bag (#1979) or another container for up to 2 months. Just heat in the oven at 350F for 10-18 minutes, or until heated through.

Homemade Mini Corndogs
Ingredients:
- 4 cups vegetable oil
- 2/3 cup ADM All-Purpose Flour (#2196)
- 2/3 cup cornmeal
- 2 Tbsp C & H Granulated Sugar (#1632)
- 2 tsp Clabber Girl Baking Powder (#2847)
- 1/2 tsp Regal Fine Sea Salt (#1146)
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup Silk Original Almond Milk (#1456)
- 6 Hebrew National Beef Franks (#2765)
- 12 skewers
- Ketchup
Instructions:
- First, heat the oil in a saucepan.
- Next, whisk together the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Then, whisk in the egg and almond milk.
- Now, pat the franks dry with a paper towel. Cut then in half to make 12 pieces, then insert the skewer.
- Then, dip the franks into the batter, and carefully place them into the oil and fry for about 5 minutes, or until browned.
- Drain on a paper towel-lined plate, and serve with ketchup.
