Italian Style Meatball Stuffed Garlic Knots
Meatballs and cheese wrapped in a delicious garlic butter-basted dough, these stuffed Garlic Knots will leave you asking for more. With ingredients ready to go, all you have to do is assemble and throw into the oven. This recipe is so easy, your kids can help prepare it as well!
Recipe tips:
- If you use our Rizzuto Pizza Dough Ball (2114), simply thaw overnight before rolling it out.
- Try mixing Garlic Supreme (#2592) and Parmesan Cheese (#1683) into the butter for more flavor!
- Rather than splitting the dough up, roll it out and place all the meatballs down the middle for more of a “loaf”.

Italian Style Meatball Stuffed Garlic Knots
Ingredients:
- 1 Rizzuto Pizza Dough Ball (2114)
- 12 oz. Rosina Italian Style Meatballs (#9142)
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 Tbsp Kirkland Butter (#1723), melted
- 2 tsp Kirkland Minced Garlic (#1289)
- 1 tsp Italian ‘N Pizza Seasoning (#1432)
- 1 tsp Regal Fine Sea Salt (#1146)
Instructions:
- First, preheat the oven to 350F.
- Then, divide the dough into 6 smaller balls. Use a rolling pin to roll out into a 4 inch circle.
- Next, add 1 Tbsp marina sauce to the center of the dough and top with 2 meatballs and 2 Tbsp mozzarella cheese. Close the dough over the meatballs and pinch to seal the edges.
- Place with the seam side down onto a cookie sheet (#4020) lined with a silicone mat (#8436). Repeat until all ingredients are used, leaving space on the cookie sheet for dough growth.
- Now, melt the butter and add the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt. Use a basting brush to brush the mixture on each meatball knot.
- Place into the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown, then serve with marinara sauce.
