Kalua Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Traditionally, Kalua pork is served at luaus. It uses a whole pig and is cooked in an underground oven for hours. But, you can get the same delicious flavor in just a couple hours using a crock pot! Enjoy smoky and salty Kalua pulled pork, barbecue sauce and coleslaw all layered on a soft ciabatta bun for a mouthwatering sandwich.

That’s okay! Instead, here are a few serving ideas for Kalua pork for you to try:
- As the main dish with a side of coleslaw, Macaroni Salad, and Mrs. Friday’s Coconut Shrimp (#3013).

Kalua Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- 1 Double L Ranch Meat Smoke Craft Pulled Pork (#1677)
- 2 Tbsp Hawaiian sea salt
- 2 Tbsp liquid smoke
- Stone Ground Olive Oil Ciabatta Buns (#1051)
- barbecue sauce
- coleslaw
Instructions:
- First, line your crock pot with a PanSaver Slow Cooker Liner (#1089). Then, add the pulled pork, salt, and liquid smoke. Cover and cook on low/warm for 2 to 4 hours, or until heated through.
- To serve, top your buns with the pulled pork, barbecue sauce, and coleslaw.
