Our top baking hack:
Our #1 tip when making any baked good is to use our Bak-Klene Spray (#5564). Its superior release power assures clean, easy removal of baked goods from pans. Our customer Teresa Demers shared, “I can’t say enough great things about this product. I have only been using it for a few years but it’s amazing! Nothing sticks. I have used it on older beat up bundt pans and the cakes come out like I used a new pan! Love this product!”

- 1 Tbsp SAF Instant Yeast (#2446)
- 2 Tbsp C & H Brown Sugar (#1150), packed
- 1 Tbsp Regal Fine Sea Salt (#1146)
- 1/4 tsp lemon extract
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 1/3 cup Oregon Chai The Original Chai Tea Latte Concentrate (#2426)
- 2 Tbsp Kirkland Sweet Cream Butter (#1723), melted
- 1 cup assorted herbs (parsley, sage, rosemary, etc)
- 5-6 cups Turkey Brand Flour (#2285)
Instructions:
- First, combine yeast, sugar, and water. Set aside to let the yeast dissolve.
- Meanwhile, combine the salt, lemon extract, water, chai concentrate, butter, and herbs. Then, stir in the yeast mixture.
- Now, slowly add the flour until you can’t add any more. Place the dough on a floured surface and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Then, knead until smooth and divide the dough into 2 loaves. Set into 2 bread pans sprayed with Bak-Klene (#5564). Allow to rise for 45 minutes.
- Next, bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before removing from the pan and setting on a cooling wrack (#1145).
- If desired, mix together 1 egg + 1/2 tsp oil and brush on top of the bread. Enjoy!
