Beef Frank Kebabs
Enjoy Hebrew National Beef Franks in these two delicious grilled kebab recipes. These franks are 100% Kosher beef with no fillers, by-products, artificial flavors, or colors, which make them a #momwin, and our kids love them too! Change things up at your 4th of July BBQ’s and try serving these kebabs instead of hot dogs + buns.
Delicious grilled beef franks, corn, red onion, and peppered skewered and coated with a tangy sauce.
Glazed Frank Kebabs
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 3 Tbsp C & H Brown Sugar (#2261), packed
- 2 Tbsp spicy brown mustard
- 6 Hebrew National Beef Franks (#2765), cut diagonally into 16 pieces
- 1 small red onion, cut into 1/2 inch wedges
- 1 medium red bell pepper and green bell pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
- Bird’s Eye Extra Sweet Mini Corn on the Cob (#4655), cut in half if desired
Instructions:
- First, soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent them from burning. Then, preheat grill. *If using metal skewers, simply preheat the grill.
- Meanwhile, thoroughly combine chili sauce, brown sugar, and mustard. Set aside.
- Next, thread the sliced franks and vegetables on the skewers.
- Place the prepared skewers on the grill and brush with half of the sauce. Cook for 7 minutes, turning halfway, then brush with the remaining sauce. Then, grill an additional 2 minutes per side or until the glaze caramelizes and vegetables are tender.

Grilled franks, mushrooms, zucchini and onion coated in a simple teriyaki glaze.
Teriyaki Hot Dog & Veggie Kebabs
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Teriyaki Sauce
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 4 Hebrew National Beef Franks (#2765), quartered
- 2 small zucchini, halved lengthwise & cut into 1/2 slices
- 1 cup mushrooms, halved
- 1 small red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/4 tsp AP Premium Garlic Powder (#1021)
- 1/8 tsp AP Table Grind Black Pepper (#1029)
Instructions:
- First, soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent them from burning. Then, preheat grill. *If using metal skewers, simply preheat the grill.
- Meanwhile, combine the teriyaki sauce and soy sauce, then set aside.
- Next, thread the franks and vegetables on the skewer and sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper.
- Now, grill for 2 to 3 minutes, then turn and brush with the sauce. Grill an additional 2 to 3 minutes or until browned, then turn and brush the other side with the sauce. Grill until heated through and vegetable are tender.
