General Tso’s Chicken

General Tso’s Chicken is a sweet and savory meal, with a little bit of heat. Serve with a side of rice (#1468) and broccoli (#8197).

Can this be used for meal prep?

Of course! Simply prepare everything including the rice and veggie of your choice. Then, divide into 4 meal prep or airtight containers (depending on how much you make, this could be more or less). We suggest keeping everything separate in order to have the best quality throughout the week. When you’re ready to eat, just heat up in the microwave!

How else can I cook this?

Yes! Our recipe is using a skillet, but don’t fret- our handy Instant Pot and trusty Crock Pot can be used as well. If you use the Instant Pot recipe, plan for about 25 minutes. For the Crock Pot, your kitchen will be smelling great for 3-4 hours. Just make sure the chicken is cooked through!

  2. Slow Cooker. Don’t forget your slow cooker liners (#1089)! Grab a recipe here.
