Salmon & Creamy Spinach Alfredo Penne Pasta

Tender penne pasta coated in a simple homemade spinach Alfredo sauce, served with a side of baked garlic butter salmon. Serve with your favorite vegetable and a slice of New York Bakery Garlic Toast (#2049).

How long will this meal last?

If stored in the fridge in an airtight container, this meal should be good for up to 5 days. We don’t recommend freezing it once it has been assembled, but the sauce itself will last for 6-8 months in a Deli Container or other freezer safe container.

Salmon & Creamy Spinach Alfredo Penne Pasta

Instructions:

  1. First, preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Line a Crestware Cookie Sheet (#4020) with AP Parchment Paper (#1153). Then, add the salmon. Season with salt and pepper and a dollop of garlic butter, then place in the oven for 20 minutes.
  3. In the last 10 minutes, start on the sauce by mixing the butter and whipping cream in a small pot. Allow to simmer for 2 minutes, then whisk in the seasoning. Add the parmesan cheese and mix until completely melted.
  4. In another pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne and cook until done to your liking, adding the spinach for the last minute.
  5. Drain the pasta, then mix into the alfredo sauce.
  6. Serve salmon on the side, garnished with parlsey if desired.
