Easy Cilantro Lime Marinade
This simple marinade contains fresh frozen cilantro, lime juice, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper for chicken full of flavor. Plus, try marinating Main St Meats Carne Asada Steak (#1755) in this mixture for delicious tacos.
Tips for the best marinade
- Marinating overnight results in deliciously tender steak from the lime juice breaking it down.
- Try poking the meat with a fork before adding to the marinade. This will help it absorb more flavor.
- Using a Ziplock bag (#1979) ensures that the meat is evenly coated. Don’t forget to flip it halfway!

Easy Cilantro Lime Marinade
Ingredients:
- 4 Sun-Land Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts (#5513)
- 4 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1 tsp AP Ground Cumin (#1442)
- 1/2 tsp Regal Fine Sea Salt (#1146)
- 1/2 tsp AP Table Grind Black Pepper (#1029)
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup SupHerb Farms Fresh Frozen Chopped Cilantro (#1921)
- 1 tbsp BBF Avocado Oil (#3516)
Instructions:
- In a large Ziplock bag (#1979), combine the chicken breasts, freshly squeezed lime juice, ground cumin, sea salt, ground black pepper, cayenne, and cilantro.
- Toss to combine and coat the chicken. Place in the fridge for at least 30
minutes, preferably 2-3 hours, to allow the marinade to work. - Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with the olive oil. Remove the chicken from the fridge and place it in the hot oil.
- Cook the chicken until well-browned on both sides and cooked through, about 4-6 minutes per side, or until the chicken
reaches 165 degrees F internal temperature. - Allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
