Easy Cilantro Lime Marinade

This simple marinade contains fresh frozen cilantro, lime juice, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper for chicken full of flavor. Plus, try marinating Main St Meats Carne Asada Steak (#1755) in this mixture for delicious tacos.

Tips for the best marinade

  • Marinating overnight results in deliciously tender steak from the lime juice breaking it down.
  • Try poking the meat with a fork before adding to the marinade. This will help it absorb more flavor.
  • Using a Ziplock bag (#1979) ensures that the meat is evenly coated. Don’t forget to flip it halfway!
